Iris
Irisシリーズは、人間の眼をモティーフにしている。その虹彩が持つ美しさにフォーカスしながら、眼の仕組みとしての「網膜に映し出されるビジョン」と視覚芸術である絵画を重ねている。いっぽうで、眼の虹彩は一人一人違うこと、経年変化の少ないことから個人認証システムに利用されている。それは、個の情報が公（社会）の一部として操作管理されるという側面も示唆している。この作品は、公と個の関係の象徴でもある。
The Iris series is based on the human eye as a motif. Focusing on the beauty of the iris, the series overlaps the "vision projected on the retina" as the eye's mechanism with the visual art of painting. On the other hand, the fact that the iris is different for each individual and that it does not change much over time is the reason why it is used in personal identification systems. It also suggests the aspect of individual information being manipulated and managed as part of the public(society). This work is also a symbol of the relationship between the public and the individual.
